Default phottix camera grip and 5dmk2

hey all....

just a question for anyone that may use this combo....

is there a way to tell how much battery life is left seeing that the camera does not "communicate" with the grip itself ( but lets you use it).

slighlty doing my little head in...

thanks a heap

benny.

If you use genuine Canon batteries (LP-E6), the phottix grip will transmit battery info to the camera body. I have a phottix grip and a genuine bg-e6, and for the $, I recommend the phottix
