Default Is it possible to put a "watch" on a forum?

That is, a typical watch where it looks for a specific keyword and perhaps sends an email notification.

I looked thru tools and stuff but could not find that capability.

RSS can be enabled as part of vbulletin.. but you'll need the admins to enable it (and good luck with that :P, I want rss feeds too)

I think RSS was poo-pooed as it was server thirsty.

There's also the fact that the forum's software will be changed at some point in the not-too distant future.

Its not really about secrecy. Its simply that we can't tell you things that we do not know yet.

then why keep mentioning them if you don't know them? You keep using it as an excuse to not update this forum.
