Haven't gotten out for deer yet because of a foot injury, but I'm looking forward to another elk season in November hoping it's as successful as last years season was...

Seven of us brought out the smaller one in the dark until we got to a trail where we then loaded it up on the quad for the rest of the trip back to camp. Had to have two guys sit on the front rack of the quad to keep the wheels on the ground to steer.

What were your settings & equipment?
Actually the two pictures are of two completely different ducks being retrieved. The first duck was dead and the second bird was dispatched quickly and humanely as soon as it was brought back to me. 30D and the 100-400, AV, ISO 100 and f5.6 Thanks.

Seriously?

First, you're a tool.

Second, if you are against hunting, which is what I get from your post, then why would you open a thread titled "Hunting Pictures?"

Lastly, unless you are a strict vegetarian, eating no meat or egg products, I do not even want to hear your lame argument on anything related to hunting.

Went out to sit on the edge of a new cutover a few weeks ago to see what was moving around. This ol girl walked out right on top of me. Not the best shot in the world, but I thought it was cool.

When I first started out I had Bluetick's, I'm not a fan of the Redbones.

The one in the first picture is my third generation of breeding. I owned his grandfather and grandmother, his dad and mom. The one in the second picture is a 1/2 sister to him, same dad different mom.

How about the Black and Tan ? These i mentioned and above were the main three type my friends uncle had when we hunted back in the late 60s' . Sure had a lot of fun .

Thanks! I ended up doing a european mount (skull mount, boil to remove tissue, bleach with peroxide to get white) that turned out pretty nice. Getting the stink off the horn sheaths took a while though, antelope reek!

Very nice shots! I've gone out a couple of times to bowhunt deer, but haven't had any luck. I had a hen turkey and her 5 poults chasing grasshoppers about 40 yards away from my blind, but I won't shoot over 25 or 30 yards because of my low poundage. Oh well! I volunteered to take extra hours at work, so there goes the rest of my bow chances for a while. At least I still have gun season!!! Mmmmmm.... Gotta love that wild game!
