I am also waiting for this macro lens in my country. I have spoken with Canon employee today and I got info that will be c.a. 1 month delay... in shipping

I'm surprised that there are so few of these around in the wild (as it were). Our local emporium of Canon goodness only got one in. And boy am I glad I'd reserved it!



some more on my Flicr (same set) attempting to show that it is a more than capable lens at "normal" distances too.
