oh dear - I have just had my lens delivered and its faulty. The focus locks when I press the button but then drifts out of focus if the shot is not taken immediately - has anyone ever had that
I have tried it on all 3 focus range setting and its the same - the focus is set to 1 shot

A bit disappointed as I was really looking forward to using it

I usually take a couple pics of swans if I come across any, I really like the way these turned out:

This is going to be absolutely evil to the people on the fence between buying the non-IS and IS version of this lens...

f/11, ISO 3200, and handheld at 1/6sec on a 1.6x crop body...so essentially 160mm at 1/6sec



And something a bit more realistic...

f/2.8, ISO 3200, 1/80sec handheld
