Default Night Shooting

Can anyone recommend a great site that could help me with night shots. I stink at them and I am taking a night tour of Alcatraz next weekend and would like to get some decent shots.

Default Re: Night Shooting

Some of the best "night shots" I've seen were taken before it's totally dark while there's still some light left in the sky. You don't need much, but you need some. Bear in mind that you don't want a "correct" exposure. You want one that's underexposed so it looks like night.
