Well we drove 9 hours today and crossed into Oregon; spending the night in Grant's Pass. Tomorrow it is about 7 hours into Seattle. We board our cruise ship Sunday morning and sail out of Puget Sound at 4:00..... Tuesday we land in Juneau, the state capitol and home of the BEST whale watching we have ever experienced.

Jim, have fun with your kids and grandkids. I already know I will be chomping at the bit on our drive home to see mine
Suzie, try to get a little break/rest, Dear You are too busy!

Hi, Mo!

We just got back from a HS football game. Watched my grandson march in the band. Took a ton of pictures.

You and Skip have a grand on your cruise

0630 I was up and am ready to roll......just waiting for Skip to catch up to me. When will I ever learn that vacations are for relaxing, LOL! I will probably be the busiest passenger on the cruise ship

Jim: our son played the saxaphone but didn't want to continue once he made the high school football team. The schedule was too grueling. Our niece played in the band 4 years, tho, so it was fun watching her every week. Have a great day everyone.....back on the road in a few minutes and into Seattle around 4-ish I love Seattle!

Hope you have a great trip, Mo! Jim, enjoy your grandkids!

We survived 2 games today, 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. We're exhausted and hot, but what a beautiful day here in VA! Older son lost, but his team played hard. Second son tied, but he was cranky the whole time.

No weddings, but I did shoot about 75 images today.

Sounds like a plan, Jim. Congrats! Tell Elaine, retirement is fun. I won't go back to work until I have to as I have 2 kids still and someday, I'll have no kids at home and go back out of retirement and start another career. I may just decide to be a consultant. I don't know what for, but I have a plan.

Good Morning, Suzie

We have decided to go to Berkley Springs, WV for our first October weekend "Getaway." Lots of antique stores and lots of photo ops.

TGIF...everyone have a super weekend!

Thanks, Jim. You, too.

I am finishing up my 2nd week of school, getting ready to teach in a week or so. There is a wedding opportunity for me in October, but I'm not sure I'll be free to do it as we have soccer until November.

I just ordered a few things on line, including a Franklin-Covey planner pages. I have an old Compact size binder, and although my Droid has a calendar, and informs me if I have an appointment, I missed seeing my month and week on paper so I can see what was up. So, I ordered the pages again and hopefully, I will continue to make appointments and not miss stuff. I like paper calendars still.

I will. Let me make some calls this weekend.

I took a few pictures this week to review the Lowepro Passport bag I got. Most of the RAW images were corrupt with my 4GB Ultra II card. I formatted it twice and tried again. It seemed to work better, no lines. But now I'm worried.

I'm also getting a new laptop today, I got an HP from Costco using my $300 AE rebate check and then paying just $550 more. It was a Deal of the Day thing. I'm hoping to get a teacher's copy of LR3 and CS5 since I am a teacher and can get the discount. My hubby is supposed to get me a copy of Office 2010 from his work since he's going to use the laptop as well. But it's a 17 inch again and I have only one bag that fits it. I may have to go shopping.

New HP laptop is wonderful! I can navigate the internet so fast! It was about time. Wish I had more time to play, though.

Happy weekend!

It is a good machine, Jim. I'm very happy. Even the keyboard is good for me. I just wish I can find a black leather handbag that can replace my Coach one that is 9 years old and getting worn. I can't decide whether to use my new Passport bag as a purse, but put the camera in it so I have it all the time. I like leather, so that's a problem. I am going to sell about 4 bags in the next few weeks. I probably will just give them away. I am redoing some configurations.
