I have an opportunity to try to photograph Pannstarrs but my AP experience is nil. I've done a limited amount of time lapse for night city stuff. I am the new owner of a Canon EOS 60D and a celestron nextar 5se. I've managed to get the 2 together. But my experience with combo nearly nil. Any hints eg ISO's to start, caveats, time lengths to start would be awsome. I don't think I'll have much time to mess around as it's going to be very near the horizon and I'll be east of the Cascade Range in central OR. Anybody on here from that region with ideas for locations would be great as well.
