It's relevant to JPG posters. Most everyone I know shoots in raw but convert to JPG for image submission here in this forum. That's the only time I ever use JPG.

I just downloaded FireFox and viewing images that's color managed is a big difference. Colors seem to be more brighter and detail seems to stand out more. My apologies if this is OT but, viewing Andrews pics is much better presented. I made sure that the color management is enabled and it is. Just checking it out for myself.

EDIT: Please correct me if I have to do any tweaks in FF. Thanks!

You don't need to do anything with firefox and if your monitor is calibrated then you're done. How much better Andrew's photos look on your monitor versus if he'd posted them in sRGB depends on how far outside the sRGB gamut your monitor can display. They all exceed sRGB by some amount, with that amount varying according to quality and cost.

Nice images John. Did you shoot with this lens exclusively?

lol..no, I used my macro as well. I shot with it a lot, even shot a few cars at a car show (that I haven't made it to yet). I used my 50mm quite a bit, and the 90mm a couple of times. I didn't even get the 17-40 out of the bag unless it was to move it, nor the 24mm.

No. I used f/2.8 on the "grass" so the DOF is very small.

Thanks!

That was a worthwhile review. The 17 looks like it holds up very well and with tilt and shift handles interiors quite well.
