@snowboarder
OMG!!!! I'm trying to locate a Contax Zeiss 25mm - rented the Zeiss 25mm ZF lens for my Olympus (50mm equivalent!) and it was heaven!!! |

Just got it in the mail today - going out tonight to get some shots 8)
interesting review of it vs the 16-35 2.8 II; which is described as "murky" in comparison http://diglloyd.com/diglloyd/2009-04...0090401Zeiss21

A product photo gig I had.
I love this lens. I can focus within inches..all pics are on the 5D II. ![]() ![]() ![]() Colors are untouched but I was requested to add some effects so I chose the vignetting...I don't know why that's so popular lately with me, I half want to get rid of it again |

These images are just stunning, I keep getting drawn to the Zeiss website. I feel a new lens coming on, always an expensive sensation!!

Okay guys i've got an aurora shot for you to check out...straight out of cam..uploading now, about 10 mbs or so (slightly reduced quality) jpeg.
...eh wtf why can't I download my own originals anymore on flickr...hmm weird. 30 second exposure, 3200 ISO, 2.8 and focus to infinity. Mirror lockup on a tripod with 10 second remote timer, no wind. For now it's just a 600x1000 jpeg I need to find a place to host the huge file ![]() I can count the tree limbs in the corners. All right here's some 100% crops...right upper corner, at the very point. ![]() And left lower side: ![]() |
