Default Fallow Deer at African Lion Safari Zoo

Just outside of Hamilton Ontario, African Lion Safari is a zoo with a difference. The animals roam freely on large plains, while the people drive slowly through protectively ensconced in their cars or the zoo buses. Should you ever go, the flexibility of your own car is nice, but the damage that can happen to your car make the bus a nice alternative. The animals most likely to damage your vehicle are the baboons and the ostriches. Here are a couple of shots of fallow deer. Thanks for looking.

Nice pics & a nice place to visit. ALWAYS take the bus in the enclosed area, - I've seen monkeys pull all the weather stripping off of car windows.

When I was much younger, I took a group of people who were confined to wheelchairs to the Park. I was working at a hospital for the spinal cord injured. Because of their wheelchairs, we used our hospital's van to drive through the various animal enclosures. It was high roofed with insulation added to it to help the vehicle keep cool. The roof had been previously slightly damaged and was using the proverbial duct tape to hold the insulation in. While driving/stopping in the baboon enclosure, with the baboons crawling all over the vehicle, I started to notice strange "stuff" floating by the windows. The baboons had removed the duct tape and were tearing out the insulation with great abandon. They tore out an awful lot of it too... an awful lot...
