Default Motorcycle Racing - Sunflower Trophy - Bishopscourt

Mixed bag of weather for the last big raceday of the season. But big crowd was well entertained with some great racing from the young guns and the old hands like ex MotoGP racer Jeremy McWilliams.

1. JEZZA

2. BEN WILSON

3. IAN LOWRY

4. One guy who didn't quite make it round.

Thanks for the comments guys. Conditions weren't ideal for bike racing nor photography. Had to shoot at up to ISO 250 at times as the conditions worsened as the day went on.
Was able to get fairly close to the action which is a help. The guy who crashed ended up only yards away from were we were standing.

Beautiful collection, excellent captures considering the weather on the day, just trying to figure out if the droplets above the fallen riders helmet are oil, fuel or water ? - Enjoyed your Bishopscourt collection pics on flickr. Nice work.

Cheers Mikey. Have been pondering the drops too in the picture. I assume its oil.

Cracking series. All super-sharp and nice contrast too, for such poor light. #2 is my fave, but then I do have a soft spot for Kawasaski racing green !
I was going to go, but changed my mind when I looked out the window on Sunday morning.
