Default First Wedding. Rick & Lorraine

I'm finally getting around to posting pictures from this wedding.
This was my first wedding, the bride is my best friend's mother. They know that I'm an aspiring photographer and they like my pictures so, they hired me.

I not only had to take pictures, but I had to do the video as well. Never again. Too much stuff to worry about.
Anyway, I made them a DVD with the Ceremony, Photo montage and the reception guests congratulating them as a bonus.

It was a crazy learning experience, with a lot of firsts, but it was fun and I hope to do it again sometime.

C&C very welcome and appreciated!

This one's a bit blurry in the web conversion, but the hi-rez looks good.

She INSISTED that we take pictures with the sheep.

haha that sheep shot is just awesome. I would defos have requested it if it was my wedding. Too funny. Looks like you did good. Well done (although I still think you're a lunatic for trying it )

thanks, I jumped over here from the other thread, it was kinda like reading a blog and following your story. I like your work and since I was/am in your situation....I suggest baby steps on the pricing. Everyone will tell you to start charging $1,000's of dollars, but I get your concerns. Increase your prices just a few hundred and promise yourself to NEVER shoot a wedding for $300 again (lol...who I really talking to here, feel free to send me a bill *gets up of the couch*)- good luck.

Thanks! and yeah, I'm definitely looking to charge more next time. I'll have a real flash so my indoor shots will be a lot better too.
