Hi again! Still having difficulties with my flash. Sigma EF-500 DG SUPER. As stated in a previous thread, this is my THIRD flash! I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but the darn thing will NOT fire when I want it to. I have tried every setting/mode and I can't get it right. WHAT am I doing wrong
? PLEASE HELP! Yes, the ready light is on, and the batteries are brand new. I have tried ETTL and M and nothing works! |

What camera are you using? Maybe there's something wrong with the camera if you've alredy tried 3 different flashes and getting the same result.

On my 40D and my 50D there is a setting in the menus to enable flash firing. Do you have your camera set to disable "flash control"?
