Default Tokina 12-24mm test shot

I'm sure there are plenty of people who wonder if getting a super wide angle is really worth it, I took on the role of the guinnea pig. While this technically isn't a great photo, I think it shows that this is a quality lens. This was inside since its raining, ISO 200 (forgot to change it) f/4 (wide open) hand held at 1/13 of a second.

As far as first impressions go, I have to say I am very impressed with this lens after only 5 minutes.

Or maybe a tripod-mounted one like you did, so we can see if that's a soft lens, or camera shake?

I've had this lens for a little while, but I really had a chance to use it during a trip to Pittsburgh this past weekend. Here's a shot of my wife sitting by the fountain in a park in downtown Pittsburgh. It's been PS'd and resized... this was taken at an ISO of 100, aperture of 10 at 1/320 sec.
