Has anyone used one of these adjustable ND stop filters? Much cheaper than the Singh Ray Vari-ND. The video guys seem to like them, wondering if it is any good for stills.

Here is one I took in the morning (sorry not really a landscape) that I had no problem with any color cast at all, but of course it was taken in very bright light

Just when I think I have all the gear I want....you folks roll out shots like these using tinker toys that I don't have. Loved them all. I see some dark glass in my future.

I actually prefer the color casts the 10stop filters produce. I believe NDs add an unnatural element to photography anyway. I have adjusted the white balance on some before, but always went closer to the original after adjusting as it was not as interesting.

Now all that's missing from that shot is Kelly Bundy...

OK, you guys are going to have to keep posting more B+W 110 shots for me.
My wife just gave me one for an early Christmas present and I'm anxious for sunlight to go out and use it.

I know where that is Tareq. That's in Hoboken, New Jersey. I think that's Frank Sinatra Park IIRC.
