Default SX10 what did i do wrong in this nightshot

I been playing around with the nightshots and I got some "ok" newbie shots. But this one I just can't get to work. Any advice in taking pics when water is involved too? I realized that there is actually movement.(newbie not thinking right) . So I used the ISO and it worked great with the exposure time.

(3 nightshots)

I was also thinking that maybe the rain / moist hit the lens since it was sprinkling a little bit right when I was taking this?

It's hard to say without exif info. First thing, whenever shooting in "nightshot" mode, it's best to use a tripod or a flat surface to steady the camera. That will increase the sharpness of the picture. Also, try to use the camera's remote or onboard timer to reduce camera shake.

it definitely looks like you got some rain on the lens.....umbrella would help
with that.
Are you using a tripod? If not, that would help.
If this are is close to you that would be a great place to
get out and experiment.

If you click on the image and go to more properties you can see the exif Taken with a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS."More properties"

Yea there was a tripod and it was timed. But thanks I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks..I guess I'll go on a day where its not raining.

My best shot for the night was this one when it wasn't raining. Maybe it was the rain since the blurry pics was when it was sprinkling.

If you've used a tripod, my guess is that it's shake from pressing the shutter, in which case try using the self timer function to take that tiny bit of vibration out of the equation.

The one of the boat on it's own is relatively blur free so I'd also consider that the area might have been too dark for the camera to pick up a point to focus on in the wide shots.

Also, try turning off Image Stabilization if you are using a tripod (EXIF says it was on).

Since there's a few possible scenarios, my advice. Either go back and keep practicing, or..
Fill the bath tub up, turn the lights down low, maybe light a few candles, some nice music. Then chuck a toy boat in and shoot 'til your hearts content until you work it out!
