Default Telephoto lense good one for cheap!

Ok Im a poor white boy! Without much to any for money these damned sorry days into years! Unlike my greater years and decades with enough to buy most I wanted. Now isnt close for that.SO with that Im after a high quality lense for the money! I seen afew on ebay and man cheap! The one Ive got my brain and eyes stuck to.Is much like a telescope for the truth.Reflective mirror to be exact.A HD lense that is a quality ground glass and lense for such little money. Its a honey of a deal if true at all. For a 500mm F8 semi short and as well wide. For a good light gathering deal. Then add a high quality doubler and instint 1000mm all for under 150.00 and dont ask me the name oh my god! So how the hell can you help me when I forget the lense name?? But perhaps your a real lense maniac! And youll know what one it is.OR another as Im looking for any info at this time.Thankyou very much! Randy

Wow, that hurts to try and read.

I would strongly consider a 55-250 IS if you are looking for a low-budget telephoto. Do not buy a mirror lens.

As I pointed out in your other thread, those mirror lenses will result in poor quality images and are best avoided. Also as pointed out in your other thread, try to space out your posts a little more

I'm a bit lost but I don't think there's any way you're going to get to 1000mm focal range for $150 and get any sort of decent results.

Probably the best bang for the buck in a lower cost lens is the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 .. They go for around $500 - $600

I'd stay away from mirror lenses.. The image quality isn't that good.(I've used one).. Also, f/8 limits your handheld photography to bright sunny days only, and you won't have any autofocus.

I had a mirror lens way back in my film days.

It was junk.
