POTN members spend millions of dollars each year to cameras and accessories, trips and beer, tripods and cars. Feels good to be able to have something you want and need, right?

Let's share that "L" feeling. We would like to ask you, POTN member and visitor, to donate a small part of that money to a charity of your choice so that Holiday Season would be bearable to those who are in distress and lack food, water, care or medicine.

Thank you all and Happy Holidays,

ADMIN DUCK (on behalf of the POTN Moderator Team)

Glad you brought it up, Pekka.

In these hard times a donation to the local food bank will make a lot of people happy.

Thanks for the reminder, Boss. I hate to admit it, since I do this with great joy, but whenever I go into a store with a bell ringer outside freezing in the cold, I always donate $, even if it is a few dollars or $20. But more importantly, there are a lot of lonely people out there, and sometimes it comes back. A nice lady came by last night that I visit with, who gave me a centerpiece she had made for the holidays. It was perfect for my big kitchen table. When much is given . . . .

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and all that to everyone at POTN! :)

Already done. Toys for Tots in honor of my retired Marine brother, the Salvation Army for all they did after 9/11 and the Spina Bifida Foundation in honor of my nephew Tim.

We pluck a few tags each year off the Christmas Angel tree at the local mall. It's run by the Salvation Army and one of our local TV stations. Always drop a little something in nearly every Red Kettle we pass as well.

several of us on TPBM put together a calendar to sell (all profits going to the Breast Cancer Awareness association). It is a very good thing to remember others.
