Hard to believe that you shoot jpg's and don't really mess with editing raw files in LR and Photoshop like most photographers. Was this with the 7D and 70-200 2.8 IS?

Thanks! And yes, I shot that one from across the track with my 7D and 200 2.8...All I did to that shot was a little sharpening and cropped it,,no RAW files here!

Ah, well that makes me feel a little better.

I'm ready to throw my 7D out, I've shot around 40,000 actuations this year, and still can't make heads or tales about the AF. It back focuses and front focuses all over the place while tracking on a high contrast helmet with lots of light. They checked it over and "adjusted electrical components", and now it over exposes +1 at all times. They took my 70-200 F2.8 L IS apart and checked the USM motor and some other stuff is fine. Put it together and sent it back. Still bounces all over the place, and I've completely tried all settings. Shooting daylight, sunny side ISO 200 F4 1/1600, single pt AF and if burst 10+ shots for testing purposes the AF goes front to back to front focused a couple feet either side of the complete bike, all while tracking on the helmet with rider at an even speed.

anyways, enough venting, glad yours is doing well! I look forward to seeing your shots weekly on here, especially when race season is on.

Motofan, Thats Nasty to hear about your Gear screwing up on you like that, I d be Smokin pissed if it happened to me, Its certainly not like you have a Million miles on this stuff yet or anything. Its NOT like this gear is extreme Entry level or Bargin barrel stuff so to speak either, Its big money and to have all of the problems you are experiencing is a very expensive nightmare
