Time for full moon fever again!!
All with my T1i + 55-250 kit lens.
Yesterday Mon 4/26

And tonights full moon (Tues 4/27 evening almost 10pm)

Then the clouds rolled it about 40 minutes later, actually I think looks kinda neat.
They were really slow moving so could capture them and the moon, w/o the moon being too overblown.
I took about 25-30 at various exposures/apertures until these looked decent on the 3" back screen.
0.5 sec @ f8, ISO 100.

Standard moon shot from a couple of nights ago, shot with a Tamron 70-300 VC:

And another one from last night with the moons peeking through the clouds (same lens):

Did you use a teleconverter and what camera and lens did you use ? Nice looking moon but i've taken lots' of images with a Canon 70-200mm F/4L and have never got one this big with just 200mm except to over enlarge and still didn't look this good .

IIRC it was without my 2xTC (but i'm not sure) This is a 100% crop though so no resizing (bigger or smaller)

Lens: 80-200mm f2.8 L
Camera: 7D

EXIF: ISO-100 / f7.1 / SS 1/50

Here is my moon shot i just shot 10-23-2010 using the XSi , 70-200mm F/4L @ 200mm on a tripod . This is cropped @ 100% and no other PP done . but compare this size to your "Old 70-200mm" you would have had to use at least a 2x teleconverter . If i enlarge to 200% it's pixelated but even then my moon shot is not as large as your moon shot . This is what i was refering to earlier today .
