Thank you!

Here is another from that series, but not quite as catchy.

Count me in as a new member of the Mk IV club. I just received mine last week and can't wait to really put it through its paces next month at the Brickyard 400 and during the high school sports season which kicks off this August. Meanwhile, here's a shot while messing around the front yard with the new camera and new 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II.

Awesome pic Scott!

Did it take long for the Mk IV to lock focus on kitty's eye?

Thanks a lot. It did take a few tries to get the eyes focused; I was using a single focus point and it still wanted to focus on the plants most of the time.

Soon I might be 1dmk4 owner, I borrowed my friend 1d mk4 and use my 70-200 f4.0 IS/USM lens. I took my children to park and took samples pictures. The pictures output are amazing and high rate of keepers. any comment would be nice to improve my skills?

What are you using now, and how do you find your results deficient over what you shot with the 1D4? Great shots above (love the 1st shot), btw, however I would think they wouldn't be that challenging for some of the more recent APS-C bodies.

I change bodies when 1) I have gear lust or 2) I have identified what specifically is deficient with what I use now. Is there a way to define #2 in your situation?

Nice pic of Seattle and Mount Rainier. I'll be back there in a few weeks and decided to spend a few extra days shooting Rainier. Any locations I have to go?
