Default Canon D60 for B&W and Infrared Photography

Greetings,

I own a Canon EOS D60 DSLR and am wondering if there is any way at all I can produce: (a) straight B&W images; and (b) infrared images?

Many thanks.

You can if you want to take the camera apart and alter it. There are instructions for that, but its permanent. Otherwise, I would do it in Photoshop.
