Default Insense

so after trying the water drops then moving on to the milk drops i next wanted to try the smoke trails.

The main problem i had with this was focus. I also wish i had a longer flash cord so i could have took them from further away.

Anyway, here's the results.
I'm not great with editing pics so these are un-edited apart from the sig.

Camera: Canon EOS 350D Digital
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/11.0
Focal Length: 100 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: On, Fired

excellent shots.
here's what ive found works well. Set your camera to AI Focus, or Continuous focus (Nikon) to help with the focusing. Then use a low power flash light to act as a modeling light (if youre using non-studio flashes).
here's one of mine:

I used a flashlight just to see the smoke in a dark room, but set the focus in manual first, then rocked my body forward or back to get sharp focus and then banged off the shot. Keeper rate was very high that way.

I like the result.
I think I'm finally inspired to try it.
Thanks.
