Default Camera

Hello everyone. My cousin is in the market for another point and shoot since her old one was stolen while she was in Japan. Ideally, it'd be user friendly, great features overall, and maybe HD capabilities? I'm never really bothered with point and shoots so I don't know. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. She's trying to stay at $300 and below, maybe $350 if it's worth it. Thanks in advance
