Default (Air) Pilot to Bombardier .. Part 2

So, while the Bombardier Boys were doing their thing, other aircraft were coming and going as well:

Air Evac Eurocopter

Throwback .. CAF Twin Beech in Early WWII Colors:

Academy Birds .. Twin Pipers await their charges:

What's Wrong With This Picture?

Traffic Alert .. Eight O'Clock Level

Gear/EXIF/Comments, etc... Same as Part 1

I'd swear I saw it land and roll out but it may have departed this way only slightly earlier while I was head down doing some scanner programming.

Probably just went up for a quickie maintenance hop of some kind. We now have a Cessna Citation facility at Phoenix-Gateway (former Williams AFB.)

Really cool, but the ATP Seminole's shot shoots and scores!

Love the Twin Beech!

You should sell that academy photo to ATP...

That last one's a great for the "Pilots at Work" photo thread...

Thanks. I like the ATP shot as well. It was actually a "grab shot" of sorts while waiting for the B-25 to crank. One of those "what's on the other side of my lens?" shots...

Probably not far off the mark. Most of those guys I knew in HS were always up to their elbows under the hood so they just took it off while on a major wrenching binge.

Thanks for the suggestions on alternate uses! I'll have to go dig up that thread.

I honestly don't know if that one belongs to the AZ Wing or not. I'll have to get over there one day and investigate. I've been thinking about joining the CAF.

Great shots in both sets Jay. Not everyday you see a sectional chart in a Learjet.

Thanks

Good point on the chart. They were headed out for some relatively low-level flight so despite the bells and whistles on board, it's still good to be able to look outside and maintain your SA!

'Bout 100-150 yards or so. Close enough to feel some rotor wash but not so close as to get blown off my ladder!
