Default Bellagio flowers inverted

I was wondering if you guy thought this color negative of the Bellagio flowers works.

It looks cartoonish, like its out of a comic book. I like it but its not great. It'd be a cool screen wallpaper. Great subject for the technique and good execution.

BTW that's not the 'Bellagio flowers', that is a Dale Chihuly art glass installation, and not, in my opinion, one of his best efforts.

Thanks for the correction, I meant to credit him, he is a truly amazing glass artist; his gallery at City Center was outstanding. It was late and I had to get up early so I just quickly made the thread.

Thanks for the comments, I realize it does look cartoonish, I think that's partly due to the blown out colors, but that was sort of the look I was going for.

Hehe Madman, you're right, it made me think of something aquatic but I couldn't put my finger on it earlier .
