Default My friend asked me to take a snapshot, I say screw your snapshots

My room mate wants to sell this lawn mower on Craigslist, and he asked me to take a snapshot of it. I don't think he knows me very well,
because I spit in the face of snapshots. I only spent about 30 minutes total on this by the way.

That is pretty cool! You're friend should kick down any extra cash he'll get from the sale

wish the wheels were in the "forward" motion... instead of the "backwards" motion.

haha...well done...I love overdoing pics...

when I sold my lowrider I used some non-snapshots pics of it (sold within 10 hrs of being posted)...the new owner is still using those pics to show it off haha

Can you put a Red Honda badge on the front of it? That'll give it another 5HP for sure!

CraigsList has never seen a "For Sale" pic so nice!

My wife wanted to sell some of our kids old stuff on CL and asked me to take some pictures as well. The same here, no quicky popped off shots for me. I got out the strobes and umbrellas and shot the stuff up. I think people appriciate it when you supply a reasonable image so they can see what they are considering buying. I always look more at the ads when there is a picture and if it's a good picture I look further and closer at whatever it is.

Nice job!

off-topic, but absolutely. I rarely bother with stuff I can't see pictures of. By the same token, I always take lots of detailed pics and my stuff usually sells in record time.

Lol, that would be awesome. I am trying to figure out a way to actually get my rig to work on this thing. I don't know though.

The only problem with such a nice photo is potential buyers may think its a stock photo rather than the actual item.

Ha ha, that's so funny!

Seriously though, I have to say, this photo would completely put me off buying it.

Firstly the model number is blurred but secondly and more importantly, I'd assume teens had been using it for racing and the engine would be thrashed!

One mans irrational opinion.

Looks like cheesy photoshop work to me. If it's not a catalog-ish shot on white seamless or with a knocked out background, I'd rather see it in a nice but realistic setting (on a golf course for example). The real concrete driveway doesn't mesh with the fake grey background.
