Talking Rust...

What do you think of my series of these pictures...

http://www.velocidad-maxima.com/phot...name&order=asc

I need to improve my depth of field... some areas are not properly focused... it's hard to notice that on a LCD screen...

All taken with a Powershot S2

1. Great use of perspective and the variation of light from the back to the foreground.

2. The idea is good, and the simplicity of composition is nice, but in my opinion it is too much of the same, an overdose of rust!

3. Very different and interesting, the range of colours and surfaces is great. Perhaps a little more light though, it's a bit drab.

4. Again, interesting composition, I like it. One thing I'm not sure on is focus, but aside from that it's good.

5. A bit too much for me, but great variety of colours and out of sync lines.

6. Superb.

7. I can imagine this as a desktop wall paper. The colours and simplicity of one side and detail of the other. Again, a bit more light I think.

8. Great use of perspective, but I reckon more of the rust in the foreground would perfect this.

9. Seems to be quite out of focus, but the colour and natural framing around the right and bottom looks good.

I like the textures. Number six is very good. I really like that one. Good work.
