How to set up light for indoor action? Please help!

I try to help my kids Master to take karate picture for the kids so he can print large imges to display at his office but I ma not pro and NO experience about indoor. Here is the link images that I take:
http://picasaweb.google.com/ho.brendan/DrTuanYVoHocNo1# and I know that will not clear if I print large. I can have option to set up light of one corner so the kids can do action on that spot. Please help me how to do and what do I need more for equipment since I have 40d & 1dM2, lens (most L lens) and 580 flash.

I dont know exactly what you are asking, but you should be able to print pretty large from the 40d. The images you posted are resized for the web obviously, so if you shoot raw and resize to the largest jpeg you can and the images should look fine printed large.
