Ras, I really like that shot and I love the processing. It's got a very futuristic feel to it and the sky works great for this shot.

Ha, this is actually an abandoned plane put down in a field in the middle of East Texas. It's on private property but I was scouting it out and met the owner, so it was all good.

So i've been waiting for about 4 months to go to this state park in Pennsylvania. Its a place called Cherry Springs State Park. It was a 6.5 hour drive from long island...it was well worth it! I had recently made a DIY about how to piggyback your camera to an EQ mount. I've done a few mods to it since the video, i added a ball head mount to the center...works flawlessly! Link:

Anyways, this place was amazing. Couldnt have asked for a more perfect night. I waited for a while to start seeing the milky way, but when it showed up over the hoizon, it was really neat, it looked like a patch of clouds at first. So yeah, this is what i did, and i hope you guys like them.

Great shot Barb. I'm a sucker for windmills - I always stop and shoot everyone I see.

Love the movement in the clouds on your shot.
