sweet!! i wish i saw this thread earlier. i just finished installing and fully populating my new ee 2.0.2 i nstall, 'doh! nevertheless, thanks for putting this together picman.

A little later than promised but I have now uploaded the cut down file package for updating 2.0.2 to 2.0.4.

The file package 'EE 2.0.2 - 2.0.4 Update.zip' can be found at: http://pwsync.co.uk/EE/

One note: before EE 2 can be fully open source, GD2 sharpening function should be removed. That function is used in EE by permission from author, and the permission was given for EE2 as share/freeware.

Hi Pekka,

As a first step what about making this forum visible again in the Photography on The Net forum and creating a sticky thread asking for volunteers to assist in development. I am sure given the traffic you receive someone would come forward.

And,
A few more moderators could be added to stir up activity in the forum thus regenerating interest.

Just a thought!

GD2 is available in other open sorce applications I believe, perhaps it could be re-licensed, when I( get a moment I will enquire.

Hi. I just installed EE_2.0.4 fully and is working. Also I entered the mentioned login and pw and also works. The question is: How do we go on from here, s there an admin or user manual somewhere?

There is not a manual at present, the basic set-up procedure can be found for the original version at:

After this take a look at the EE2 upgrade docs in the forum and search for any other questions that may answer your needs.

Hello,

I have stuck in db update, I also got the following error when I do import by database.sql into current ee db. Does anyone can help on it?!

I have just installed EE. and it looks fine, and installing was easy with the instructions.

But i cannot find anywhere in the readme, or on the net where i can setup a root user, with username and password.
I also cannot find any login details. or where i configure them.

Can you help me with this picman?

1-0 (0 found)
Search: nothing found
