Default Kirkistown stages Rally - NI Championship

Decided to go along to the opening round of Northern Ireland Rally Championship at Kirkistown on Saturday. Very good event with lots of easy access and good photo shooting opportunities. There was an impressive collection of machinery there and even a WRC Ford Anglia ! , anyhow here's some of my pics of the day.

1. Stanley Ballantine and his flyin Evo

2. Mr. Hunter getting up close and personal to the haybale in his MK11 !

3. George Robinson 3rd O/a havin an early morming bath

4. Nissan Micra Rarin to go-albeit slightly OOF

5. Event winner Derek Mc Garrity making waves

6. My new favourite WRC - get Mikka H. over here asap !

7. Escort trying to find its footing

8. Chevvy at the chicane

good stuff!

#1 is great panning!
#2 looks a tad soft, bit too much motion on it
#3 is outstanding!
#4 oof and motion again
#5 a little bit too tight but lovely colours
#6 does nothing for me sorry
#7 shame about the sign but a nice shot just a bit overexposed
#8 lovely and crisp just needed to have the space to the right of the photo not the left for me.

Regards,
Jon.S

Hi Mikey-mac, Cant really add much to Jon S comments but your timing on all the shos spot on. Catching Hunter hitting the bale, Ballantine with all four wheels in the air, water splashes etc. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for taking the time to comment fellas, I am still learning here as I go along and will try and take all points on board. - Goncas - I do admit if I were half as good as I want to eventually be, I would probably have erased most of them myself
