My sister asked me to get some shots of her practising her dressage a couple of weeks ago, and I grabbed these 'portraits' of her and her boyfriend - be interested in your feedback.

#1 appears to be a picture of a horse, not your sister! The young lady's face is barely visable. #2 could have benefited from some fill flash. All the shadows are kind of distracting and it appears a tad underexposed. Focus and WB looks pretty good from here. Like the angle as well.

Also, I don't know what 'dressage' is, so the photos don't provide enough info for a casual viewer.

#1 is too tight

#2 i don't like the aggresive vignette and shadows
