Bought 5d2, has new 2.03 firmware
I see 24p
I don't see 720p I don't know what else to look for in this firmware, I haven't seen any previous versions. Also, please excuse the crap attachment photos, too excited to care about focus or developing. EDIT/UPDATE: (March 6) Ok, after building up a bit of courage and risking my two day old 5d2, I tried the firmware dumper Mr. Hudson sent me... it worked (i think) I've sent Mr. Hudson, the dev of Magic Lantern the firmware dump files. Please don't bombard him with messages at this point since it may have not worked. Please give him time to check. Either way I hope I've provided him some lead time to start looking at the code. We may see a magic lantern firmware soon after canon releases theirs on the net  Also, thank you amoergosum for taking swift initiative to connect me to Trammell Hudson. 720p was not announced by Canon as one of the features.

I see a live histogram for liveview but once you start recording, the histogram goes away. As for playback, I see a histogram while the video is paused (but no movement), but as soon as it plays the histogram goes blank. I don't know if this is standard with the previous firmware, hope that helps.
As for the Audio, there's a menu under the video size that lets you pick either automatic or manual level recording. Manual lets you adjust gain while a live db meter shows you whereabout your current sound levels are (mic is on while in this sub menu). |

The release date of the firmware (March 16?) is a few days after a big production I'm doing with my 5D and a friend's 7D as a second cam. Itd be great to shoot it both at 24p, or at least both at 29.97p.

Ahh that is godlike! ML has audio levels but they're hard as crap to understand/operate in a pinch.
I will paypal you $15 if you figure out how to dump it for mass enjoyment! Let's start a pool! hahah
