Default Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS Mark II
Let's see some photos. My lens will be here on Wednesday.

UPDATE: Fedex now says delivery will be Thursday (tomorrow). I cannot wait!

OK OK, here's the test shot. Since I'd better the first real OWNER to put one here.

Even from this flickr shot, you can see it stands up with the 200 2.8L pretty well.

Anyone from Australia got MK II lens from Canon Australia or Australia camera shop yet? Coz I ordered it two weeks ago but the shop still don't know when it will be coming in...

Any info?

I always shoot RAW I think ACR standard settings sharpening is 25%?

Silly not to sharpen RAW, everyone sharpens RAW. You did they right thing my brother.

DD photographics got them instock I think, but the thing is it'll cost you a good AU$2949!!.... I was thinking of selling my 70-200F4IS to get this but at that price I don't think its 3x better than my 70-200F4IS... prolly I'll wait until the price go down a bit....

I think DD photographics lens source not from Canon Australia, maybe from some Asia country..

Right on, thanks Pete. Let the images roll in... I am anxiously waiting for tomorrow - Barry thought my lens would be here today, but FedEx is showing other news - tomorrow.

Yes, for the end product (i.e. real world results) it's silly b/c I know I ALWAYS apply sharpening in post.

However for comparison to another lens, not so silly. I like to see the RAW ability of lenses with no sharpening.
