7d video editing?
soo im a noobie when it comes to editing video.. I recently went to a race event and used my 7D to take a 3 min video. the file is almost 1gb in size.. what programs can i use to edit it and possible compress it so i can upload it online..
 the file is a .mov HELP _ chino

If you have a Mac, iMovie came free with it so you could try that to get your feet wet.

 i found an older copy of cs3 premier.. i hope it edits the files.

http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...play.php?f=131 To answer your question; yes Premiere Pro CS3 can edit the files. I use it w/ my 5D mk II video. When you try to edit footage, it will look choppy - this is common. The format used is not really an editing one. There are work arounds to this, like proxy files or encoding it into another format. If you don't mind how it looks in Premiere Pro, you don't need to do elaborate measures to fix it (e.g it will not look choppy in the final product).
