Default Camera straps

I am looking to replace the straps that came with my 50D and 40D because they are just boring looking. I was looking around on Deviant art hoping they may have some cool straps but couldn't find any at all so I am wondering if you guys have any suggestions on some cool camera straps and where I can buy them

Not terribly concerned with cool; comfortable is more important to me. I use the POTN strap (POTN Shop link at top of the page).

Crumpler industry disgrace straps come in different colors and designs, you need to search for them

Here is a possible source

Though I'd love to support this fantastic forum but those straps are kinda boring looking and those letters are way too small

Thanks! but they are not what I am looking for.
hmm maybe I could just buy a cool looking sticker and sew it on to the strap but then I will have to learn sewing as well

i'd much prefer boring and black.

but if you want to stand out, maybe look for that crumpler/canon industry disgrace strap. bright red is pretty loud if that's what you want. it had really big lettering for "Canon" and "EOS" also.

I got one from Smugmug a while back which is real nice, made of Neoprene and super comfy.
The Crumpler one is good, too, a friend has a couple and they're much nicer than the stock Canon ones.

Maybe try etsy.com? Lots of people on there selling handmade straps and/or covers. Just do a search on the front page for "strap for dslr camera."

I'm not sure how sturdy they are, but the ones that are just covers for an existing strap would be fine I think.

The flame one looks cool! Though I wish there are large letters on it too like Photography-on-the.net or DeviantArt

Well it's not like I want to stand out but I just want them look different and without showing ppl what I am shooting with lol especially if one day when I can afford high end cameras

hmm it seems like I may will have make my own. Maybe just get a plain camera strap and then sew a cool sticker or ribbon on to it but I am not very confident of my sewing skills

Another thing about etsy is if you find one that is close but not quite what you want, you can very likely get the designer to make you one like you want for the same cost.

The Canon straps are not very comfortable, especially when you have a heavy lens.
