Default My 7D came with firmware version 1.2.0
My 7D came from the Canon headquarters in NY because it was a replacement for my defective one. The serial starts with 077xxxxxxxx and has firmware 1.2.0 which I find interesting because the Canon only goes up the 1.1.0 on their webpage. Maybe 1.2.0 is going to be released any day now?

is there any difference between HD recording? any options for 1080P 60fps?

or user selective auto ISO range?

Check to see if there's any options for audio level control.

I went through all of the menus and options and I don't notice anything different than 1.1.0 from my original camera. So no audio level or auto iso range options.

I need some more time to play with it tomorrow.

was hoping for manual audio gain at the least. guess it's pretty minor then, although it is 1.2 as opposed to 1.11.

Prolly just a subtle change, like a sleep mode change or freeze up issue.
