Default Strasse Forged Mercedes C300

Super clean C-class on some 20" Strasse CF S8s. This was my first time using my new lighting set-up during the middle of the day, shooting towards the sun - loving the results! Let me know what you guys think (of the car & the shots)

Really nice shots, great use of flash in daylight by the way.
I would clean up the flare in shot #4 however, but that's my pesonal taste.

These sure are publishing quality !

Good work on these. Did you really need all that road in #5?

Good work. Did you use an ND filter on these? If so, how many stops? Also, what kinda strobes and how many?

My only suggestion is to straighten out the horizon on some of these.

Yeah someone else pointed out the horizons on a few, hard to get them right with the wide angle! haha.

No ND filter on these, but I was using a B+W circular polarizer the whole time, and most of the shots were done on a tripod, so I exposed once for the car lit up, and once for the sky and background, blended in post. Because I was shooting into the sun it was hard to get a proper exposure all in one shot, even with the strobes at full power. I did use an ND filter for the rig shot, also a B+W, .9x.

I was using 2x Alienbee B800s and 1 580EXII, triggered with Cactus V4 triggers.

Use the ruler tool in PS to straighten the horizon.

Nice work overall. I've been using my 580 and 285hv's, but those are only so powerful. Just picked up a White Lightning X1600 and hope to pick up another so I can do some day time shots like these.

Again, nice work!

All are very well done. PS the pole out of #3 and you have a real winner.

Did you use anything to soften the light on the Alien Bees? Umbarella's, softbox or nothing?

Those carbon fiber wheels must have cost half the amount of the Benz. Great shots.

Thanks everyone. No modifiers on the lights, just shot them bare with the 7" reflectors.

Amazing what you can do with an XTi. begs the question how great they'd be with an 5d2 Nice set and awesome lighting.
