What size do you want the images to be?

Ok, so those are the rules as I have worked out so far, they may be liable to change at any time subject to further discussion by the group.

1st point for discussion is the number of entries allowed per person. I have limited this to 1 so that we all have a chance to enter an image through to the main competition and that no 1 member can dominate a particular round...however, would this weaken our overall chances in the competition by denying those that are stronger in 1 particular subject to enter more than 1 shot?

2nd point for discussion - allocation of any prize(s) that may be won. The prizes are as follows:

£3,000 overall main prize for the winning club to spend on Canon imaging products
The Best Overall Picture from any round will win a £1000 voucher for Canon imaging products, which can be won by an individual photographer
The Club with the best overall monthly entry will also win a £1000 Canon voucher

Now I am happy for the individual photographer prize to go to the individual photographer but should the club win an overall entry we need to work out how that would be allocated between us.

Of course, we need to win some first but I am sure the talent we have between us will get us some victories!!

Well, the magazine stipulated a size of something that was a tad under 600 pixels but the website gives no such restriction so I have uploaded an entry that was 1024 pixels on the longest side. It must be under 500kb though.

If any entry wins then the organisers will contact us for a hi-res version of the shot.

Oh, how peculiar. Their site can be a bit funny sometimes - try this to see if it works: http://www.dslruser.co.uk/camclub/ and then look up the club (it is listed in the Kent area as I couldn't list it in all SE counties). If that doesn't work either try the parent address of http://www.dslruser.co.uk

For now though get your images posted on the forum page and if you still struggle with the other site one of us that can access it will upload it over there.
