Default Spring Candid

We had a warm afternoon today, so my daughter and I went out to look at flowers. She picked this tulip and in the middle of posing a warm breeze hit her and she stopped cheesing for the camera to enjoy it. I didn't have it framed well and there are DOF issues, but didn't want to miss the moment! Taken with the nifty fifty.

Thanks for looking!

Still a great shot of a lovely little model. Have you tried a much tighter crop?

That is terrific! Love the shoulder strap slipping off her shoulder. it makes it seem so casual and typical of a little kid lost in the moment. good for you for just snapping the shutter. that is an expression not to be missed. nice.

I did try a tighter crop on the frame that I shot immediately after the first one, which I like, but I really missed her hair blowing in the wind, but I guess I can't have it both ways and still maintain a 4x6 aspect ratio, lol. Anyway, here is that crop:

Again, thanks for looking.
