Just a quick question in case any of your guys have a full frame too, what is the FF equivalent of this excellent lens?

I only ask because I've a 5D on the way and don't want to part with this, however I do like the range.

Ouch, double the cost - I guess it goes to show how good the Sigma is!

Well double for the Canon, unless you meant the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM

This was a completely lucky accident. I was taking pictures of my son playing outside when our neighbor's daughter joined in. I happened to be sitting right next to the playhouse they were inside of, casually holding my camera by the window. She popped her head out and I snapped a completely off the cuff pic (no viewfinder, just a blind focus in her direction) and this is what i got!

One more... Pretty much the same story as before. Stuck my camera blindly inside the playhouse window and snapped the photo. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good!

Blind focus gets you this degree of sharpness on the eyes? Wow.

100% crop straight out of the camera. Only RAW conversion to jpg. Her eyes weren't where the camera chose to focus, her hand was the true focal point. Still, I thought it came out nice. :)
