Default Few Pics from Saturdays wedding

Saturday was a hot hot day for those of us that call this wet and windy island home, probably cool by other peoples standards though.

We've toned our post processing back recently, most of these are straight from the camera JPG's except where stated otherwise.

5. Persian part of the ceremony where a mirror shot is a must have.

6. I dont really do selective colour but it really helped remove distracting brightly coloured cars in this shot.

8. Moved a distance away from the venue with a 50mm prime to capture this, ISO4000, f2 on a 5D MKII.

Good job, and may I say that I really like your border around your images. It makes it consistent, people know where it came from, and its a subtle reminder. I like it.

Now to the pictures. Great job, just a few nitpicks.

3 I feel could use a little more contrast.
4 would REALLY benefit with a little bit of skin smoothening.
I like the right side of 5 much better than the left, the left looks soft.
6, not normally a HUGE fan of selective color either, but find it has its places. I would be interested to see what this could look like if you toned down the color part of the image so it wasnt such a big contrast? It could turn out really bad, but that was the first thing I thought it could use.
8. I would like to see it, no image is posted though.

i think the selective color in 6 is a perfect example of when selective color works.

I honestly didn't even notice it was selective coloring until i read the post above.

i don't know the temperature you had to deal with on this wedding, but mine on the same day... i went through 9 bottles of water and I think my wife went through 6. It was crazy hot. I was doing everything I could to keep my sweat off of the back of the camera.
