Nice shot. I'm guessing available light, tripod, slow shutter speed, lots of DOF. Or else this guys hands are FAST. My only criticism is that all the stuff on the left side is distracting from the subject. Perhaps if you could light up his face a bit?

I agree about the distraction. You might consider cropping out about 40% of the left side (which will make it a square image).
