I came upon the Vaillancourt Fountain in San Fracisco, CA, one day and the water had all been emptied out. Most of the shots that I see of the fountain get the overall shape from the outside. I took this as an opportunity to climb into the fountain to get a unique vantage point of this twisted mess of a concrete landmark.

Thanks! The texture is what really attracted me to create the image as well as the architecture itself!

Joe nice work there. Do you have any more images of this? I would love to see more. Is that the Midway museum on your site?

@jimz66: I shot a lot of stuff that day back in November 09, so I went back through my files and found some other images that I need to process. Thanks for reminding me to check!

That shot of the captain's chair is from the USS Hornet berthed in Alameda, CA. More about the shot here: http://anvilimage.com …/22/o-captain-my-captain/ (external link)

Looks like something from a video game. Great shot and processing work.

Nice, I like the old vs. new effect. I love the fact that everything is in focus.
