Default Albion Falls - Hamilton, Ontario

Albion Falls is located in the south end of Hamilton, Ontario - sometimes referred to as the Waterfall Capitol of the World (100+ Falls). The falls themselves are very easy to get to - both in viewing from the top and below. One can actually walk across the lower portion of the falls when the water level is not too high on one of the many terraces. I go during the week - often times on a weekend there are too many people enjoying the falls - not good for serious photographers. This time I used longer glass and concentrated on many of the smaller features of the falls. This is one in a series of monthly images that I share with clients and friends - I add a bit of Inspiration to an image and send it out. If you wish you can find all these images on my website. Just click on Desktop Inspirations - they are free use use and share.

I've been to Devil's Punchbowl but don't think I have any images on my site. Which image were you referring to? I think Devil's Punchbowl would be best when the water flow is high and when I went it was not that spectacular. Sadly also, and very disappointing, was all the garbage along the path and at the base of the falls. It still gets me that people go to these places to experience natural beauty and then feel no remorse as they drop all their garbage along the way.
