hi guys, I was checking pics in EOS viewer and sudenly found interesting thing, I don't know if it is just me, or anyone have same problem, looks like under almost same settings, in EOS view images look more sharper and a little bit different.
Here is my 100% crop from both appl. and then resized images from both appl, no post processing, just streight conversion. also when I convertin in Adobe Raw, files are twise smaller in size 3mb vs 5mb (eos) Thx for ideas and thoughts. ![]() resized ![]() ![]()

Different RAW converters don't process your image in exactly the same way, so you can expect that there are some differences.

Most RAW converters have default settings for contrast, color, sharpening and so forth preset in them when you start them up. It looks like the settings for the Canon converter are set higher than the default settings in the Adobe Raw.

it wxactly my observation too, EOS viewer produce sharper image and lightly different color
I always use Adobe raw and never compare any other RAW converters until now, and was a little bit surprised with outputs.

I don't have EOS File Utility with me at work here, but I'm not sure if there is a "no sharpening". So are you sure you had sharpening set to zero for both?
