Default Backpack recommendation..

So it's time for school to start back up soon and I've decided I'd like my everyday backpack to double as a light camera bag. Currently my bag is a Burton 28L Zoom and it is too large for my everyday usage. The Karachi Outpost is very attractive to me, but I don't know what size I'd need and the price is a little high (even on B&H).

My specifications for this bag:

1. Would like it to fit 1D Mark II with either a 17-40 f4L or a 24-70 f2.8L attached. Maybe room for my 50 f1.4 too.
2. Needs to have room for 4-5 spiral notebooks (or one of the large ones with dividers).
3. Room for a few books (not thick text books, just relatively small ones).
4. Possibly a small laptop (Macbook Air or smaller).
5. Room for my 70-200mm f2.8L (soon to be IS) in it's pouch would be very nice.. but not a definite requirement on this one.

My budget would preferably be under $150, but I don't want something cheap that won't last. Also this does not have to be a 'camera specific' bag, any recommendations are welcome.

Thank you all!

You should check this thread out. Looks like it works well for him and it's not camera specific.

Some of the Kata bags seem to fit this requirement. They had a small section for camera stuff and then other sections for everyday use, including a separate section for a laptop.
