IT WAS A GRASS SEED! *whew* He's got a drainage tube in his lip and it will have to be removed next week. He's on antibiotics & pain pills. And everything cost half of what they said. *thankfully*

thanks everyone...after all the bad news we've had in the last year, I was just sure it was the big C. So glad it's just a seed. How frustrating though. I mean, because he loves to go plowing through the grass.

Excellent news!!!

Neil, wonderful shots of Sookie and family. They remind me of big rugs.

Really enjoyed the Bassets too. They have whiskery faces like our Ruger does!

Terri, good luck on the walk! What a cool thing to do.

I know there was more I wanted to remark on... I forget though.

I won't have any new shots until tomorrow. I hope! If it's to windy of course the balloons won't go up.

Yeah...nothing spectacular. I took the 40D/24-105. Wow. I haven't used that combo in a LONG time. I forgot how limiting 24 is on the 40D. I'm so used to full frame.

I did get some video though (wow, I'm so NOT a videographer!

Yes. Very similar.

I got soaked right away. He did a huge 360 and I got sprayed a bit, then the ensuing wake caught up with us and went right over the gunwale. Completely soaked me. Luckily I had given my cell phone to a friend so it was in a ziplock. Not so lucky on the wallet.

. And the 40D was wearing a ziplock too.
